Let’s Talk About Money (No, Really)
Why Financial Social Work Matters to Me
I grew up poor, so I don’t approach financial therapy from a place of judgment - I come to it with lived experience, deep empathy, and a commitment to helping you feel more empowered around money.
Being a Certified Financial Social Worker combined with my background in comedy AND practicing for 10+ years, I bring warmth, humor, and realness into the therapy room, so you can unpack the heavy stuff (like money shame, financial anxiety, or burnout from hustle culture) without it feeling... well, heavier.
Money is emotional, yet it’s often the hardest topic to talk about. Whether it’s financial instability, shame around spending, or feeling “behind,” money trauma shows up as anxiety, guilt, and fear. I help people explore their money stories, heal old wounds, and create new, grounded relationships with money - whether you’re navigating generational patterns, under-earning, or just trying to feel more at peace with your finances.
We won’t be building spreadsheets or budgets (unless you’re into that), but we will be building insight, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of agency. Together, we’ll work to unlearn toxic money messages, disrupt generational patterns, and grow your self-trust around spending, saving, and setting boundaries. Whether you're trying to feel less anxious every time you check your bank account, heal from financial trauma, or just stop beating yourself up for not having it all “figured out” yet - I’m here.
Money stuff is real, and it’s deeply tied to self-worth, security, and survival. You deserve support that sees the whole picture - not just your bank balance.
