Sometimes, when you’re in a dark place, you tend to think you’ve been buried -

But, perhaps, you’ve been planted.

BLOOM

Hey there, howdy - welcome to Bloom Therapy, PLLC!

I’m so glad you found your way here. As you wander around this little corner of the internet, I hope you get a feel for me — not just the therapist version, but the real, human, slightly goofy, deeply curious me. That’s important because: 1.) therapy with me is super relational (read: we’re in this together), and 2.) I want you to feel like you can bring your full self into this space too - awkward laughs, big feelings, weird metaphors, and all.

Bloom Therapy grew from a mix of things I care a whole lot about: laughter and healing, tenderness and truth-telling, identity and imagination, showing up messy and figuring it out together. I tossed them all into the metaphorical mixing bowl, gave it a good stir, and out came this practice - a place where you can show up exactly as you are, even (especially!) if you’re not sure who that is right now.

I work with teens and adults who are navigating the hard stuff - anxiety, grief, identity shifts, burnout, breakups, big transitions, little “what-am-I-doing-with-my-life” spirals. I bring humor, heart, and a deep respect for your story, your pace, and your weirdness. You don’t have to perform, fix yourself, or figure everything out before coming in. That’s what we’ll do together.

Let’s get curious. Let’s get real. Let’s untangle some things and maybe even laugh a little along the way. Read more about me here.

“Fun” Facts About Me

1) I’ve had the luck to meet several celebrities, and bonded with them over comedy. Turns out, laughter is the ultimate icebreaker, even with famous people. (It’s also gotten me out a speeding ticket before.)

2) I show my East Coast roots with a constant coffee drip, and a fairly inconsistent Boston accent. Happy to demonstrate.

3) I’m a full-on neuroscience nerd and was even a TA for it in college. If you want to nerd out over brain science, I’m your person.

4) I cry about random things on the internet, but especially about dogs.

5) Once, I tried to fix burnout by reading six self-help books at once. (Spoiler alert: It didn’t work.)

6) I’m an avid traveler who loves learning about different cultures, meeting new people, and trying all kinds of new foods (the spicier, the better!).

Seen here doing stand-up in 2009!

  • Who I Serve & What I Offer (No Boring Therapy Here)

Who are my clients?

My clients are the deep thinkers, the planners, and the action-takers. They’re teens, young adults, and millennial adults who’ve lived through some weird shit and are trying to make sense of it all. They’re figuring out who they are, where they fit, and why life can feel so messy sometimes. They’ve got big hearts, a ton of self-doubt, and a lot of hidden strength. They’re inherently good, and honestly, probably really effing funny too. They’re ready to face the tough stuff - trauma, heartbreak, self-doubt - and use those experiences to grow. They’re resilient, authentic, and willing to show up and bloom.

If any of this resonates, I’d love for you to be one of them.
